face this fact

you can get angry if you like
but weather or not you agree with what i'm saying
will not prevent it from being said

i do not see the world in black and white
nor is it a rainbow before my eyes

i see it more as a gray scale world
with brilliant flashes of colour
here and there

i am a man,
you can argue that fact with me if you like,
but it will not change the way i feel,
the way i am

just like how others will not change
just because you tell them they are wrong

fight for your rights, yes
get them
call it good

we cannot change every person into
what we wish they were
and if we try then we are no better then the ones we say are in the wrong

there will always be people
to disagree

so it's time to grow up
and face this fact
get what we came for
and let the rest fall as it will
